At AVTEC, learning is a continuous activity. With an objective to build a high performance culture, we have partnered with premium training institutions to offer level-based technical and soft skills programmes. These programmes are designed to enable employees to learn, grow and develop skills to mould them into future leaders.

We conduct intensive training sessions, with an equal emphasis on job skills and behavioural development. Experiential programmes such as mentoring, action learning projects, job shadowing, change management initiatives, technical skills sessions and leadership skill sessions are regularly organized to encourage professional rapport and keep employee morale high.

The AVTEC Competency Framework is designed by industry experts keeping in mind capability building and continuous growth of the organisation through its most valued asset: human capital. Generic competencies form the backbone of our major HR processes: talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement and learning & development across all levels. This leads to a robust and fair human resource management system.

Preparing graduates to take on the world: “GET & MT Programmes”
For a smooth transition from the campus to the corporate world, AVTEC uses the Graduate Engineers Training (GET) programme to help transform young graduate engineers into employees with global mind sets. Through this programme we select and groom some of the brightest graduates from across functions and provide them opportunities for professional growth.

The aim is to inculcate the CK Birla Group’s values in probationers, and nurture in them the ability to hold senior positions within the organisation. Another facet of the module is the mentorship programme for young engineers, which aims to create a platform for personal and professional development.

Developing future leaders: Chairman Circle and CEO Circle programmes
AVTEC has specialized coaching and leadership development programmes that are imparted in line with business needs and employee career stage. Some programmes such as Chairman’s circle and CEO Circle programmes are designed for an elite group of high potential employees, with an objective to groom them to take critical position in the near future, across the Group or within the organisation. These programmes include behavioural coaching, opportunities to work on strategic projects, job rotation, career management and mentorship by senior management.

Constantly evolving with you: “ADEPT” an integrated talent programme
Accelerating and Developing Executive Potential Talent (ADEPT) is an integrated training programme that has been designed to conduct talent reviews and succession planning for critical positions.



Six Sigma Training

Six Sigma training is a strategic initiative at AVTEC, under which workshops are conducted regularly to build individual as well as team skills.



Reward & Recognition Programme

AVTEC has multiple rewards & recognition programmes including the KUDOS award, Brilliance award, and Star of the Quarter award. These programmes are designed in alignment with organisational goals with measurable targets to boost employee motivation and productivity. These awards also build a close and strategically aligned culture.



‘Darpan’ for employee engagement

AVTEC’s employees are encouraged to be active co-creators of the overall employee experience. One means of enabling this is Darpan, a platform for our people to share their views, ideas and suggestions to ensure the organisation continues to be a great place to work.
